This August, we're celebrating our community through drawings! Submit a drawing depicting what you love about your community/neighborhood (a place, a person, an idea, etc.) from August 1 - August 31. You can also bring your work in-person to Cheyenne Mountain Library, Manitou Springs Library, Monument Library, Old Colorado City Library, Penrose Library, and Rockrimmon Library if you would like it to be hung in the gallery there. All ages and skill levels are welcome!

The Draw Your Community galleries will open at Cheyenne Mountain Library, Manitou Springs Library, Monument Library, Old Colorado City Library, Penrose Library, and Rockrimmon Library in September! A virtual gallery will also be available for the community to view. Artists are invited to the gallery open houses in September to talk about their work with the public and to meet other artists. Submissions will be accepted from August 1 - August 31. Please take a photo of the artwork and submit it along with the title of the work and the artist’s first name. Multiple submissions are allowed. Accepted file types: .JPG, .GIF, .PNG.
